It's that time again folks...
Top 5 Games that you, but no one (or very few) played.
*This is another loose list, and I have a feeling we, as gamers, have played a lot of the games others list, but lets just go with it and have some fun*
1. Sunset Riders (SNES)
2. The Journeyman Project (PC)
3. Lolo 3 (NES)
4. Geist (GC)
5. Illusion of Gaia (SNES)
Bring it on critics.
Glad to see you...
If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

And I LOVED Illusion of Gaia...
Juniper: you're the first person, besides my mother, that I know has played Gaia... only reason I even got it was cause my dad bought it randomly for my mom based off of some random guy's recommendation at the store. Came with a free tshirt too!
ReplyDeleteSince the amazing Sunset Riders was claimed by brjahu I will leave it off of my list.
ReplyDelete1. Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (XBOX)
2. The Neverhood (PC)
3. Sanitarium (PC)
4. Shenmue (Dreamcast)
5. Hybrid Heaven (64 - but was originally supposed to be a flagship game for the Nintendo 64 Disc Drive and was also the very first true RPG I ever played)
Good list idea.
1. Phantom Dust (Xbox)
ReplyDelete2. Battle Arena Toshinden (PS1)
3. Chameleon Twist (64)
4. Gex (PS1)
5. Hellgate: London (PC)
Apparently we all played Sunset Riders (mine was an arcade experience)
ReplyDelete1. Solomon's Key (NES)
2. B.O.B. (SNES)
3. Tom and Jerry (NES)
4. Hover (PC)
5. Treasure Master (NES)
Hover was a futuristic, bumper car, CTF game that came with our Windows 95 install disc. Awful framerate, mediocre animation, but intense vehicular combat.
Treasure Master, barely making it on my list, was a videogame contest, sponsored through MTV. I was given the game as a gift from a neighbor, years after the games contest elements were over. Not having the instructions for the contest, nor solid internet access or cable TV to inform me of the contest's completion, I played fervently, set on winning a big screen TV. I couldn't beat the second level.
Hover... I completely forgot about that game. I also received it on a Win95 disc that also included the music video of Weezer's Buddy Holly (Thank you MS for introducing me to Weezer!)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of another game that came with one of our computers: Fury 3. Loved that game, and was probobly my first 3D flight experience on the PC.
