When someone on your team in Modern Warfare 2 calls in an emergency air-drop, you typically let THEM have the best items that fall, right? Right?
I'm kinda joking around here, but I just wanted to make it known to those who weren't playing with us that brjahu stole my Stealth Bomber on Wasteland (a great map to have that) last night and used it to end the game. Oh yeah, and he already had about 27 kills and 5 deaths at that point, so he really needed it, too. How dare you?
Glad to see you...
If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

Yeah...... about that...... 1st time I've purposefully done it. Never again... MY BAD. :(
ReplyDeleteHaha, a lot of people try and do that... Of course, I'd rather have a teammate take any care package before the enemy... and IW has given the person who called it in a VERY fast pickup on those packages.
ReplyDeleteWhoa... We're hitting close to the belt here.
ReplyDeleteI agree though, with the etiquette rules. Although it's a bonus that's obviously designed to help the entire team out, the polite thing to do would to help protect your teammate while he is collecting his bonuses, much in the same way you would try to keep your AC130 gunner alive while he is raining fire down upon the other team.
It would be cool to have such strong communication with your teammates that when something like that is called in, you actually deliberately let them take UAVs and ammo, to help support the larger strikes.
May I ask if those 27 kills had been earned with real guns, or those double shotties? (read: were they honorable kills?)
Very honorably. Had a rough start but thanks to some good communication on and teamwork I got my Preditor missile, which lead to a triple kill, which immediately gave me my Harrier and 3 kills from that later.... Chopper Gunner. And thanks to a camping opponent, their team kept spawning in the exact same spot. So yeah, 29-5 since you cared....
ReplyDeleteOh, all done with my Famas and not my AUG!
I'm proud of you for dropping those shotties. Dare I say we all should pick up a clan tag again? Maybe play some domination? We all communicate enough to do it well. Hmm?
ReplyDeleteIf youd get on more, youd see we've been playing our fair share of Domination ;)
ReplyDeleteOh and dont get me wrong... I still have that class and use them as a backup to my AUG but never as my main set.
ReplyDeleteI was in that game and brjahu stole it just to further his goal of being not liked by any of us and only playing with guys from the UK.
ReplyDeleteSeeing I was playing with you and you're not from the UK discredits any comment you make.
ReplyDeleteSkatch, he obviously hates you but is too scared to tell it to your face.
I LOVE skatch. LOVE HIM, but that AyeReady guy has def got to go. "What the hell just happened BRAWHOOOO?!"
ReplyDeleteI hope he reads Seven's facebook, sees the blog link and reads your post....
ReplyDeletehahaha, some nice reading pre sleep tongiht, apoligies for my lack of commenting past couple of days, work's got a bit manic on the lead up to xmas and i'm off on a trip to Italy tomorrow morning, should be good to get away from it all just before christmas.
ReplyDeleteanyways, yes airdrop etiquette basically it's up to the dropper, i mean as long as the team who drops it picks up everything i'm happy enough and obviously the owner of the drop should have first dibs on the best ones i also think it's quite a good tactic to let the owner pick up all of them and turn him into like a super powered player who can just rain down pain on the other team while the rest of them pick up the scraps.
ps. Ememy i'm flattered, i love you guys too.
