Glad to see you...

If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

Dante's Inferno impressions

So literally just got off playing thru Dante's Inferno demo that hit live last week. First of all it's a total copycat of God of War for those who havent had the privilege, pretty much everything from the controls to the gameplay is near identical, but that's certainly not a bad thing and i'm acutally very impressed with it, slick gameplay, nice gfxs interesting enough story think it's definately one to watch and it comes from the same dudes who did Dead Space which is only a good thing.

  1. I got the demo, but haven't played it at all yet. Not sure if you knew, but there's a good number of guys from the original God of War that worked on this game including the level designer.

After playing (and being completely blown away by) Bayonetta I really lost interest in Dante's altogether. Can't wait till the 5th of January to pick up my copy of Bayonetta!

  2. yea Bayonetta is pretty slick, its not a day 1 purchase for me tho it's going on my "wish to complete list" but that list is mounting so not sure where it stands really. definately give Dantes Inferno a blast, demo takes about 25mins play thru, quite enjoyable.
