Glad to see you...

If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

My last pre Mass Effect 2 launch Mass Effect 2 post.

A sweet video showing some of the big name voice actors talking about their characters in the game. Please pay close attention to the voice actor voicing and lending her face to the character Miranda. It's absolutely shocking how well they nailed her face in a video game. Unlike ODST where Nathan Fillion and that other chick look like they're faces were carved out of play-doh with a spoon.

Is that Nathan Fillion? No, it's Mel Gibson in "The Man Without a Face."

  1. Funny how Tricia Helfer's in this too. She was Dare in ODST, right? Also, the Baldwin guy. I'm shocked Fillion isn't in ME2 also. In fact, I'm shocked anyone who starred in "Firefly" has ever had work after that steaming pile was canceled.

  2. Shenanigans on this one, Lead Salad. I do think that as time goes by, the cult status that Firefly has in so many people's minds is inflating a little too much, but the show was filled with space combat, class, and honest characters. Good stuff in my book.

  3. Don't forget cheesy and a wannabe original Star Wars trilogy. Fillion might as well pin a badge on his shirt that says, "I want to be Han Solo. Do I remind you of him, or...yeah?" Also, the theme song is UBER-lame. Also, it didn't even last one season. Also, so what if there's no sound in space? Also, the episodes were aired out of order. In summation, it SUCKS.
