Here's an article almost poking fun of people that aren't going to purchase MW2 for one reason or another. If it weren't for Amateria's verbal bitch slapping I would be looking through this list for games to play myself.

Sorry JR.
Glad to see you...
If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

3N3MY: You're already buying the game, so just shut the hell up and enjoy it when it comes out...
ReplyDeleteNow that I got that out of the way, you might want to take a look at that list. If you remove the PC and the PS3 titles as well as those not yet launched you are left with Wolfenstein, Halo 3, and COD4. And for those of you who do not yet know 3N3MY, that would leave him with Wolfenstein. From everything I have read, and from the few first hand accounts of the game, the only thing that holds it up is its name: Wolfenstein.
Also, those "dedicated server boycotters" are PC fanboys and last time I checked, you don't fall into that category.
LOL! Awesome... I have a couple of those. And the lovely GF just bought me Dragon Age: Origins and that is supposed to be 50 hrs plus on the first play through soooo... I'll survive. I'll wait until it's either $20 or they input dedicated servers and/or fire Mr. Douchebag, the CEO.
ReplyDeleteWolfenstein was pretty good. Not amazing or fantastic but decent. I had fun playing it. Not quite sure what everyone was complaing about...

ReplyDeleteJR: No harm was meant by it. Its a term I use loosly describing those who are obsessively one-sided in terms of anything. Other examples are Apple fanboys, etc. I at one time easily fell into three different fanboy categories (as I would define them): HDDVD, Nintendo (pre-Wii), and even Xbox. I have since delved into the relm of Blu-ray and Playstation.
ReplyDeleteBut going back to my comment. I only tossed that term around because I feel those people protesting do fall into that category. I'll try to use the term more sparingly in the future.
Rough day at work. I sounded harsher than I meant it. My bad.
ReplyDeleteI just love talking with other video gamers. Even though I primarily focus on PC, I still love using the 360.
brjahu: Try not to be a triggity in the future toward fellow gamers.
ReplyDelete3N3MY: I'll try in the future to keep my "triggity" comments to a minimum and only directed at you.
ReplyDeletebrjahu: That's all I'm asking and maybe one day I'll tell you what a "triggity" is.
