Glad to see you...
If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

HAHA! Man the AI really sucks in that game.
ReplyDeleteI personally liked the "we whipped the dog shit outta them" comment after beating the black man. Valve = racists
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
ReplyDeleteIf it's racist to accept trends that occur withing a culture, within a particular country, within a particular region... then what about honest story-telling (ever) isn't racist?
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying they should embrace cliches and stereotypes, but I hardly think they crossed the line with anything in the game.
I'm failing to hear what brjahu pointed out. Where's the racism in this video?
ReplyDeleteLet me clarify - I don't think anything Valve has done in this game is overtly racist. If anything, they've just honestly portrayed a good general southern United States demographic by using strong characters and decent voice acting.
ReplyDeleteI too, am failing to see the racism here.
