I am now the proud owner of a used PS3 and Killzone 3 and Gran Turismo. Getting shipped tomorrow. And yes, I will be selling my 360 to offset the cost.
Not quite sure yet if I just joined the Dark Side or the Light Side...

Value of $564.77. All those pre-owned costs were taken from Gamestop.com. I will take $10 off any one of those Gamestop pre-owned costs up there, unless it puts the cost below $10 or the game is already below $10. If anyone is interested, hit me on facebook, J.R. Hart, or on here. I.E. Oblivion would be $9.99, Red Faction would be $9.99, and Lego Indiana Jones would remain $6.99. I keep my games in excellent condition in their cases. Almost all the games were brand new except a couple I traded for on Goozex.
Otherwise, I will be selling them on Craigslist or trading some of the newer ones in at Gamestop for some PS3 games. Gave the friend who sold me the PS3 first dibs since he also has an XBOX, haha, and you guys get second dibs.

I don't think its a dark side or light side, as the two consoles aren't mutually exclusive.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't mind it at this point, but on the future I would like to refrain from letting this blog function as a marketplace, not only as a courteousy to other users, but also so that we don't market towards one business over another. Discussion about the various ways to sell is one thing, but actually doing it is another. If this blog were to evolve into a website with potential paid advertisers, it would be something we have to avoid.
Also, why in the world do you own TMNT? Was the movie not disappointing enough?

Sorry, I fear I may have come off a little rude. Some of us have been discussing what this blog could (hopefully) one day become, and I was probably in that mode of thinking when I wrote that.

No problem. I didn't think anything of it when I posted up here... I honestly figure if it turns into anything else, we would obviously have some way to easily communicate amongst ourselves, as the posters or website hosts or whatever, without public viewing for anything of this nature. I just wanted to give anybody here, people I discuss games with, the chance to buy any cheap used gamers for less than they could get them elsewhere before I post them up on craigslist. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought TMNT because I heard it had easy achievements. Unfortunately, the gameplay was pretty aweful, thus ruining my desire to pursue the easy achievements. ;)
