Glad to see you...

If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

OGO PS3

Have you guys been keeping up on this PS3 outage???

I'm a PS3 fan and all but WTF!?!? It's like Y2K all over again. Best part is that it is an internal flaw in the system and completely unrelated to PSN (at least at the time of posting this). But, despite all the flaws with the 360, none of them were big enough to take ALL PS3s ON EARTH out at once.

Forgive me for laughing a bit inside.

Thoughts?

  1. Is it really that much of a done deal for all PS3s? Just BAM and you're out till a fix?

  2. Only Fat PS3s are affected. I have one and I was still able to play PS2 games fine (which is what I was planning on doing anyway since I just picked up Viewtiful Joe). And as I recall, the same thing happened to Zunes last leap year. :)

    Nevertheless!

  3. Stupid bug in the system...not tried mine with any games, noticed this error a could of days ago didnt think much off it, thought it was something to do with my PC connectivity to the PS3 cos i get an error regarding that sometimes so thought nothing off it. Sure it'll be fixed soon as, and it's nothing on the fiasco that is RROD which i'm sure ppl will start comparing it to.
