Glad to see you...

If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

PSN Still Down

I don't know what annoys me the most:

The insane amount of people, organizations and countries trying to sue Sony.

Congress saying that they don't want the PSN back online till they're satisfied with Sony's response to the problem.

Or that it's still down.

I guess I just hate bullshit opportunist used car salesmen, but I'm really just starting to get pissed that the PSN is still down.

Anything plugged into the internet CAN be hacked. Nothing is unhackable. It was just Sony that was targeted.

Yeah it's free, but this is getting to the point where even I've had it. Fix the fucking thing.

  2. Haha, just giving you a hard time...

I never swear, especially when it comes to gaming... <---- not a true story

In all seriousness, the PSN being down for this long is aggravating me and I don't even own a PS3! They must be really vulnerable to hacker attacks... PC doesn't have any specific "network" it must connect with. Though I'm wondering how vulnerable Steam could be to something like this...

  3. I wonder how much $ Sony has lost because of this issue. I've read that capcom has lost thousands due to it, and its target of everything being back online is 5/31. I just can't see how Sony will ever have a trusted reputation again.

  4. To be honest, I've wanted a PS3 for a loooong time but this really changes my mind. I used my 360 more for Netflix now that actual gaming so having another console without online... forget that. Microsoft might suck but I have never had a 6 week outage of LIVE.
