Glad to see you...

If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

MW3

The new trailer just launched.

What are your thoughts? It's impressive as always, but do you guys even care anymore? I was left impressed, but at the same time had a feeling of deja vu. I've been here. I've seen this. I've played this 6 times already. I had to force myself to finish the Black Ops campaign.

Undoubtedly the campaign will be over the top and the mp will be addictive, but I just can't bring myself to buy another COD game.

Amateria told me that his store already has over 100 preorders.

Honestly, will you guys buy it? I'm gonna say no, but if the rest of this blog gets it.....I'll probably swallow my pride and follow suit. How else am I going to spend my Christmas if not by yelling about killstreak hacks and people losing TDM for me with a whopping 1 kill and 16 deaths?

  1. I'd say there's a very high probability of me NOT buying this one. I was so disappointed with Black Ops. I know they're developed by different people, but it IS essentially the same game each year. Same old, same old. I believe it was when the 3 of us were playing the UC2 multi this past weekend when Amateria said that thing about 100 preorders. I seriously have trouble believing it.

I think I will be plenty busy with Gears of War 3 and Uncharted 3 to even care about this. Oh, and there's that Battlefield 3 game, too. I'm not saying I'm getting it, but it's out there in the mix as a good CoD alternative.

  2. I'll be getting it on the 360 probably. Me and my brother play these a lot together, and as much as I've been enjoying ps3 gaming more, more people I know who will be buying this will be on the xbox.

  3. This is a tough one. I almost feel that I HAVE to get it. Why? Because a lot of my normal crew will be getting it. However, one thing that may prevent it is the HUGE amount of other games coming out. I will say that my immediate reaction was disappointment. Disappointed that they are putting yet another COD game out and disappointed on it's timing. I wish they had just stopped at 2. That is still the best in my opinion.
