Anyone excited? I was looking at it with interest, but wasn't slightly considering a purchase because I figured the price would be through the roof for all it offered.
As it turns out it's the same price as a 3DS and has significantly more to offer.
This could turn up on the Christmas Wish List.
Glad to see you...
If the gaming industry is an automobile, and the game designers are the drivers, then that makes us, the players, backseat drivers, and we'll be damned if we're gonna let the industry keep on heading the way it's going (good or bad) without letting them know what we think. So buckle up, feel free to complain about there being no air in the back, and bring your most critical and analytical mind to the open air discussion of the current age, Backseat Gamers!

I know they dumbed the system down on purpuse to lower its cost. I hope that hasn't degraded the 'impressive' quality in any way.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, I'm not a handheld gamer. I have my Android for that. May not be a huge gaming platform (yet), but between my ROM collection and the few games I have, its all I need.
Not interested in portable gaming enough to care much. I play my DS probably 3-4 hours per month, tops. It's great they made it the same price as the 3DS, though. It should sell pretty well because of that.
